Parents of Blind Children is a sub-division of the N.F.B. We are trying something new. The parents division is traveling around the
state for those people that cannot get to the larger cities or for those
family’s that need help and do not know where to go to find assistance.
Special gifts and information will be given out about us. Snacks, games, and
entertainment for the children will be provided.
The cities that we will be visiting:
 | Olean - January 9, 2011, 1-5 PM, Country Inn & Sweets (716-372-7500) |
 | Rochester - February 13, 1-5 PM,
Keenans
Restaurant, 1010 East Ridge Road |
 | Syracuse - TBA |
 | Binghamton - TBA |
 | Oneonta - TBA |
 | Buffalo - February 20, 1-5 PM, Olympic Restaurant (on Sheridan
Drive at corner of
Military Road, Tonawanda) |
Parents, siblings and friends are welcome. If you know a blind person
this is an outreach program for those that need help or just do not want to
feel alone. We can offer you mentorship, guidance and keep you informed of
your rights as a blind person. For more information, or if you would like us to visit your area, please
contact travel co-ordinator Karen Cooper by email
or by calling 716-510-4560. You must register for these special event
days.
Remember, we do not want one child left behind. It is the children of today,
that are the future leaders of tomorrow.
